How to work the knitwear: Syli is worked top down seamlessly. The cardigan is loose to comfort you and so wide, almost like a coat, that you can even wear a sweater underneath - it feels like a hug from your best friend.
The brown Syli is shorter and has pockets on the front. You can add pressed buttons if you want to get wrapped in or change up the style.
The lavender Syli is made of two yarns held together to give it a sophisticated look and ultimate softness. It comes with a belt, but you can skip it if you don’t have enough yarn.

The cardigan is designed to be worn with approx. 5-25 cm / 2-10” of positive ease at bust - so the cardigan has really relaxed fit.
First, measure your own bust (or your widest upper body part). Then, add 5-25 cm / 2-10” to your bust circumference. Compare that number to the finished measurements (below) and choose the closest size. You can also measure your favourite cardigan.

Longer cardigan with belt and normal sleeves: 600 (640) 720 (760) 800 (900) g of Purl Soho Flax Down (43 % baby alpaca, 42 % extra fine merino, 15 % linen - 200 m / 219 yds / 100 g), color Lavender opal 1620. And 140 (150) 170 (180) 190 (210) g of Onion Silk + Kid mohair (40 % mulberry silk, 60 % super kid mohair - 240 m / 263 yds / 25 g), color 3005. The longer cardigan is worked holding one strand of each yarn together.
Needles
3.5 mm (US4) and 4.5 mm (US7) circular needles and DPNs if you don’t magic loop the sleeves.

10 st markers, tapestry needle, 5-6 pressed buttons (optional).

16 sts x 25 rnds = 10 cm / 4” of st pattern with 4.5 mm (US7) needle.
