The Ruu Sweater is and effortless and beginner-friendly mohair sweater pattern

Level ●○○○○ (1 of 5)

How to work the knitwear: The Ruu sweater is so easy it could be the first sweater you knit. Follow the shortcuts if you are a beginner, and use the professional techniques if you have more skills.

The Ruu sweater has a double-folded neckline, longer hem at the back, and puffed sleeves. The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down, so you can try it on as you go.

First, cast on the stitches for the neckline provisionally (or if you prefer the easier method, with the long-tail cast on method), work the collar, unravel the cast-on edge, fold the collar and work it together.

Then continue working the round yoke, separate the sleeves from the body and work the body to a split hem.

Finally, work the sleeves and decrease them rapidly on the cuffs.
